I can't even remember what my last post was about. It's been a few weeks and we've been so busy. First, Aubrey is potty trained! Even at night! I'm so proud of my little princess. She's stubborn, but mommy can be just as stubborn, so with a little toughness she's finally using the potty all the time! Except last night when we went full Polk County style and she went potty in the grass. I'll explain later. Aubrey is also attending dance class and kindergarten prep classes. It's hard to believe how much she's grown. I'm so proud of the little girl she is.
Bailey. Well, Bailey is becoming a bit more spoiled. Other than that, she's wonderful. She's gaining weight and looking good. We have regular visits with her pediatrician, nothing more than normal. We see GI Tuesday, and I hope we can discontinue tube feeds. She still has speech and PT twice per week and her EI is twice per month. We had her annual evaluation with Early Steps a little over a week ago and all went well. I'm not sure how pleased they are with her progress, but I don't think they'll ever be happy with that. She will be getting an assessment in the near future to determine her equipment needs. The plan is for her to get a chair that will assist us with home therapies and also help her posture, she'll be getting orthotics, and also a bath chair. IF all is approved. They also mentioned a walker, but her therapist said often times the walker arrives AFTER the child begins to walk unassisted.
Keith is doing very well. He's been working hard, at work and home. He wakes up every morning and takes the girls to their destination for the day, then he goes to work, then picks the girls up and cooks dinner, reads books to them, and puts them in bed. He is pretty much playing the role of mom and dad. Hopefully he will remain patient with me and my busy schedule.
I'm busy. I wake up each morning and work until around 4pm, then on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays I go to school once I leave work and I'm there until 9:30pm. Lately, I've been going back to work once class is over. Classes are going okay. Math, easy. Anatomy and Physiology, difficult. I had extra help at work this weekend, so I was able to spend time with the girls and Keith. We did Disney on Ice, worked a little, visited a little fundraiser for UCP, studied, and went to church.
Keith and I took Aubrey to Disney on Ice yesterday. She loved it! She's already talking about wanting to see the show again. It was very impressive. We arrived 30 minutes before the show, found our seats, and purchased a $12 snow cone!?! Isn't that outrageous? After the show, and walking a mile to the car, Aubrey decides she needs to potty. So I opened the door to the car, blocked everyone's view, and she went potty in the grass. As she says "Just like Debbie (the dog) does". Great, my child just compared herself to the dog.
We've officially moved. We are still living out of boxes, but everything is finally in one place. We're making progress, and hoping our house sells. Remember, looking to move to Lakeland, give me a call! Well I need to go back to studying. A&P needs about 12 hours of my time per week! At least!
Please keep those in the path of Gustav in your prayers.

Emma
Emma is one of 4 adorable children in the Cornish family. Isn't she beautiful? Looking at that beautiful smile makes it difficult to imagine the obsticales she has faced and overcome in her short life. Tomorrow at 7am will be another challenge for her. Dr. Q will begin repairing her heart. She will be in surgery for approximately 3-5 hours. Which means 3-5 hours on bypass. Getting off bypass and her ventilator will be her two challenges. Please keep Emma and her family in your prayers. Also, remember her siblings that will be away from their sister and parents during this time.
